PSP Basic - How to check IF your Memory Stick is Fake?

Now Fake and Counterfeit Sony Memory Stick is roaming freely outside market. There is one way check if your Memory Stick (MMS) is Genuine one by following these steps

1. On your XMB menu (or main menu) of your PSP, press Triangle button (on any section like music, game or video ) to bring up the Information menu in the left. Then press X button to access it.



2. If your MMS is a Genuine one, the Magic Gate description will show Supported as shown below.




3. If it is a Fake or Counterfeit one, the Magic Gate description will show Unknown as shown below.



This method applied for All Sony Genuine Memory Stick include Memory Stick Duo. Pro Duo, Pro HG Duo with all capacity 2Gb/ 4GB/ 8GB as long as you can put it in your PSP. Dont belive in such as thing like ' this product is in different model or version or manufacture country, so it can not be shown like u want ----> such a Lie

Besides. I recommend you buy Memory Stick from Authorized Sony Shop or Showroom, it will be more expensive than the Fake one. Yup, but it worth! U will get 5 years warranty and technical support. So go for Genuine one at Sony store, dont be lazy n go to the store near your place or got a Saving thinking for cheap one. Then later u will cry or gonna crazy because of it unstability n causing unknown problem. Want to throw away your precious PSP because of a cheap MMS? your choice!
